Electroguard is a brand of Hawkview Solutions Inc. This policy explains what information we collect through the electroguard.com website and the ElectroFi mobile app, how we use it, and who we share it with.
Who we are

The ElectroFi app
ElectroFi is a private application for existing Electroguard customers and their security staff. Accounts are created by Electroguard for contracted sites. There is no public sign-up, and the app is not directed at children.
What the app collects
Email address — to sign you in and identify your account. Linked to you.
Device push token — to deliver alarm notifications to your phone. Linked to you.
That is the complete list. The app collects no location data, no contacts, no photos from your device, no usage analytics, and no advertising identifiers.
What the app does not collect
Camera video. The app displays live and recorded footage from the cameras at your own sites. That footage belongs to you. It is shown to you through the app; the app does not collect it, and we do not use it for any purpose other than delivering the monitoring service you contracted for. Footage handling is governed by your service agreement with Electroguard, not by this policy.
Face ID and Touch ID
If you turn on biometric sign-in, your credentials are stored in the iOS Keychain on your own device. Apple does not share your biometric data with us, and we never receive it. You can turn biometric sign-in off in the app's Settings at any time.
Tracking and advertising
We do not track you. The app contains no advertising networks, no third-party analytics SDKs, and no data broker integrations. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
Who we share data with
We share the minimum necessary with service providers who help us run the service:
Apple Push Notification service — receives your device push token in order to deliver alarm notifications.
Our hosting providers — operate the servers on which your account and your site's data are held.
We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
How long we keep it
Account information is kept for as long as your organization has an active contract with Electroguard, and for a reasonable period afterwards where we are required to retain records. Push tokens are deleted when you sign out of the app or uninstall it.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections, passwords are stored hashed, and access to customer data is limited to Electroguard personnel who need it to provide the service.
Your choices
Notifications. Choose which sites notify your phone in the app's Alarms screen, or turn them off entirely in iOS Settings.
Access and correction. Ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it.
Deletion. Accounts are provisioned and removed by Electroguard at the request of the contracting organization. To have your account and personal information deleted, contact us at the address below or ask your organization's Electroguard administrator, and we will action it.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act or the California Consumer Privacy Act. Contact us and we will honour them.
Children
The service is sold to businesses and is not intended for anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
