Terms of Service

Last updated 5 November 2026

These terms govern your use of the ElectroFi mobile application. They are an agreement between you and Hawkview Solutions Inc., doing business as Electroguard. By installing or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Who we are

Hawkview Solutions Inc., doing business as Electroguard
3626 N. MacArthur Blvd. #224, Irving, TX 75062, United States

Texas Department of Public Safety, Private Security Bureau licence B19799

What these terms cover

These terms cover the ElectroFi app only. The monitoring service itself — what we monitor, how we respond, pricing, and how long footage is retained — is governed by the separate service agreement between Electroguard and the organization that contracted the service. If anything in these terms conflicts with that service agreement, the service agreement controls.

Accounts and eligibility

  • ElectroFi is a private application for existing Electroguard customers and their security staff. There is no public sign-up.
  • Accounts are created by Electroguard at the request of the contracting organization. That organization decides who gets access, and may ask us to remove it at any time.
  • The app is intended for business use by adults. It is not directed at children.
  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
  • Access ends when your organization's contract ends, or when your organization or Electroguard removes your account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Access or attempt to access cameras, sites or data belonging to anyone other than your own organization.
  • Share your account credentials, or let anyone else use your account.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except to the extent this restriction is unenforceable under applicable law.
  • Interfere with the service, probe it for vulnerabilities, or circumvent any access control.
  • Use the app or any footage obtained through it for any unlawful purpose, or in any way that violates the privacy rights of others.

Camera footage

Video from the cameras at your sites belongs to your organization. The app displays it to you; it does not transfer ownership. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to recording and to sharing recordings in your jurisdiction, including notice and consent requirements where they apply.

Sharing evidence

The app can generate a link to a recorded clip. Anyone holding that link can view the clip until it expires. You choose who receives it, and you are responsible for that choice. Do not share links containing footage of identifiable people more widely than is necessary.

Availability and notifications

We work to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Maintenance, network conditions, device settings, power or internet outages at your site, and mobile operating-system limits can all delay or prevent delivery.

Push notifications are a convenience, not a life-safety system. Do not rely on the app to alert you to an emergency. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services directly.

The app itself

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on devices you control, for the purpose of accessing your organization's Electroguard service. The app, and all intellectual property in it, remain ours. We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time.

The app is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Your use is also subject to those stores' terms. Apple and Google are not parties to these terms and have no responsibility for the app or the service.

Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Disclaimers

Except as expressly stated in your organization's service agreement, the app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Electroguard will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising out of or relating to your use of the app — including any failure or delay of a notification — whether based in contract, tort, or any other theory, and whether or not we were advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Consumers in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom keep all rights granted to them by mandatory consumer protection law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If a change is material, we will give notice through the app or to your organization. Continuing to use the app after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts located in Dallas County, Texas will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where mandatory local law gives you the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your own country of residence.
